Cartridge: Nagaoka MP500, Dynavector XX-2 Mk2

72 audio MC transformer

SG4 speed control, perfect sinuns 50Hz, reduced voltage (just 200V ) for reduced rumble (DIY)

Phono cable: VDH Tide Hybrid.

Mediaplayer: Aurilac Aries Mini with SSD and the upper power supply of an Aries

Loudspeaker: Tannoy Chatsworth 12″ HPD315. (Is a closed box!) Fits very well with the Philips, best match in my eyes. Uses Kenrick clone stand.

Nice page page about Tannoys: https://www.hilberink.nl/speaker.htm

Interesting is that the page has data also info about the 800Ohm Philips… Understandable. What is good is good. Have also an 800Ohm AD3800AM in a temporary box. Crystal clear voice, but not enough bass and less stage compared to Tannoy.

Cables: I do less care… except phono cable, where due to the MM we need to count capacitance pF by pF. All the above count much more. Maybe once I will spend time with it.

Amplifier: What a surprise, it is an Philips AG9015, one of the earliest model (smaller 8uF with it’s higher resistor, “going through” style balance potentiometer, riaa gain switch components still at the back) so most possibly from not later then 1960.

And a Miniwatt N3 (APPJ), but from the better one’s. (so has no high freq humm like later builds…)
